Decks are the job most people hire New England Carpenters for, and more than once it was to fix someone else's work. In a May 2026 review, a customer who had met with about a dozen contractors said their first hire botched new deck stairs and Tiago Rossatto's crew started over and finished them; a June 2026 customer said the company finished a half-completed job. The North Andover company says it builds decks, porches and custom sheds, takes on additions and kitchen, bath, basement and attic work, and has operated since 2015. New England Carpenters LLC's Massachusetts HIC license, #221060, is active on the state registry. Tiago Salazar Rossatto's construction supervisor license, CS-123190, is active there as well. It shows 5.0 stars from 12 ratings each on Angi and HomeAdvisor and 4.7 from 10 on Thumbtack. In an April 2026 review, a customer with a 19th-century house said the crew found hidden water and structural damage under an old deck and fixed it without breaking the bank. Another April 2026 customer described a 30-year-old deck rebuilt, with the site cleaned every day. Beyond decks, customers describe a built-in pantry in April 2026, a bedroom closet with sliding doors in January 2026, a storm door in December 2025, and, in a May 2024 Angi review, sinking two-story back porches jacked up and reframed. Several customers also used the company for snow plowing in the winter of 2025–2026. In a July 2025 Thumbtack review of a deck converted from wood to Trex, the customer said the crew was polite, punctual and quick, but the finish work was average at best, the PVC lattice warped because expansion and contraction were not allowed for, the crew took a couple of weeks to return, and a rushed fix on a day of heavy rain made the problem worse. The customer added that Rossatto stayed responsive.
