For a small residential job — a fixture swap, a thermostat, wiring an in-law unit — the praise is specific and comes from people who named the work. Pin down the start date, the finish date and the price in writing, settle who cleans up at the end of each day, and keep any money you hand over tied to the electrical work itself.
