A recent Google customer had Northeast Concrete Construction put in an 8' x 14' slab. That customer says the work stopped with the slab more than half done because they ran out of cement, and that John, the owner, said the later cement would be a different color but would bleach out to match. The same customer says the section poured after the stop has bigger chunks of stone on the surface and is not level. The customer sent John a message with photos, says he promised to call the following day, and says that call never came and later messages got no reply. A 2023 Google customer gave the company five stars. The Better Business Bureau gives Northeast Concrete Construction an A+ grade, and on Google it shows 3.4 stars from 5 ratings.
I had Northeast Concrete put in a 8'x14' slab. By the time I got home the slab was more than half done. I noticed that they had stopped, so I asked John the owner what was going on and he said they ran out of cement. After quite a while someone returned with more cement. After they finished John told me the cement was different than the rest and would be a different color, but would bleach out to match the rest. He didn't say how long. After it set up, I took a better look at the part that was done after they ran out and noticed the surface was not consistent with the rest of the slab. There are bigger chunks of stone on the surface and valley's, not level. It doesn't look good at all. I sent John a message with photos and he said he would call me the following day. No call, I've sent other messages with no reply. This company does not stand by their work and I would not recommend.
