Luis Lema owns One Time Construction, and he's also the man reviewers keep finding on their roof — more than half the reviews name him, a couple of them calling him the foreman on their job. The Brockton company does roofing, siding, gutters, carpentry, painting, chimney repair and rebuilding, windows and decks; its own site claims 15 years in business, while its Thumbtack profile says 11 years and 10 employees. Twenty-two reviews across Google, HomeAdvisor and Thumbtack since 2023, all of them five stars. Gutters come up more than anything else. A September 2025 review describes old, rotted wooden gutters pulled down and replaced with aluminum in the same black color as the originals. Another homeowner, writing in October 2025, said the pro looked at what was needed, brought the supplies and finished the work in one day, and that the price was fair. Back in March 2023, a customer had a downspout fixed and the gutters around the house taken care of, then said they'd come back for gutter or chimney work. Roofs are the other half of it. An August 2025 review describes a full replacement — old roof torn off, new roof on the same day, gutters done too, and the place cleaned up afterward. The chimney job is the one that shows how he bids: in a July 2026 review, a homeowner whose roof was leaking against a chimney with deteriorating mortar said two of the three companies they asked wanted to repoint it, and Luis was the only one who suggested replacing the chimney instead. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #215132, is active on the state registry, and HomeAdvisor lists a trade licence number, T002961, for the company. Estimates are free, and the HomeAdvisor profile lists Spanish-speaking service. On older houses the work can grow: a May 2026 reviewer credited him with explaining the added fixes he needed to do and why, and a homeowner restoring a historic home wrote in August 2025 that their gutter project had snowballed. If your wood gutters have rotted, your roof needs a tear-off, or a repointing crew has already quoted your chimney, this is a fitting call. Ask that the estimate put a finish date on the job and spell out what would count as added work before the crew starts.
