Perez Home Improvements is a Lynn-based carpentry and home improvement business run by Byron Perez, with Angi listing six years of experience and free estimates. The one project reviewers describe in real detail is deck-building: a 2021 review described a 12x8 deck built in five working days, calling the work precise and fast. The written reviews on file are dated — three reviews, all five stars, from 2020 and 2021, all recommending the work and calling it good value done on time. There isn't anything newer to draw on. One thing worth checking directly: the company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration has been verified against the state registry as expired. That doesn't mean the work described in the reviews was done without proper licensing at the time, but it's worth confirming current registration status before signing a contract. For deck-building or general carpentry work in the Lynn area, the reviews that exist are positive and specific, but this is a small operation with a short, dated track record — get references, confirm current licensing, and get a clear written estimate before hiring.
