Phi Inspections

Phi Inspections is a home inspection company based in Hingham. There isn't much of a public record to go on — just two written reviews — but both describe friction with the company rather than praise for the inspection work itself. In a 2026 review, a customer said an inspector broke a step and a railing during an inspection, then the company would not take responsibility when the customer called with safety concerns, and was told they weren't a client. In an earlier 2023 review, someone scheduled for a housing inspection said the company misspelled their name on mail, got into a dispute about it, hung up on them, and then canceled the inspection. Both accounts point the same direction: how the company handles a mistake or a dispute once something goes wrong. With only two reviews on file it's a small sample, but worth asking directly about their policy on accidental damage and cancellations before booking.
