The August 2025 customer wrote that Helsom and his team were easy to work with, that the work got done in a timely fashion, and that they now get constant compliments on the quality. The September 2025 customer told a different story: a condo remodel that ran over 18 months, a contractor who "makes everything a change order at exorbitant prices", and mistakes they put down to lack of supervision, from a company they said takes on more work than the team can handle. Scope and price control are what to nail down in advance. Ask how change orders get priced and approved before work starts, get the completion date in writing, and ask who is on site supervising day to day. For a custom home, an addition or a multi-room remodel, this Plymouth company is a reasonable one to put on the list — Angi's profile also lists free estimates and Spanish-language service. Bring detailed plans, and settle the change-order process and the schedule before anyone swings a hammer.
