In August 2025 a customer wrote that Helsom and his team were great — easy to work with, finished on time, and the work still draws compliments. In September 2025 the next customer opened with a single word: Beware. That second account is the detailed one, and it is the one to read closely. It describes a condo remodel that ran past eighteen months, change orders the customer believed were being used to lift the price, mistakes they put down to thin supervision, a worksite that was not kept clean, and no electrical or plumbing subcontractors of the company's own. The reviewer's own advice was to hold back part of every payment until the work is signed off — sensible with any contractor, and worth doing here. The company belongs to Helsom Dias and calls itself family-owned, working out of Plymouth on custom homes, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, decks and basement remodels. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, 211387, is active on the state registry in the company's own name. Angi additionally lists a trade licence number, CS-117296, as the company's own self-report, and notes that Spanish is spoken. Two reviews is not a track record, and a 3.0 average made of one five-star and one one-star tells you the outcome varied — not that it averages out. If you call, get the scope, the schedule, the change-order process and a payment holdback in writing before anything starts, and ask directly who is doing the electrical and the plumbing.
