Almost everyone who writes about Platinum Flooring is writing about a garage. Concrete that had spent decades cracking, staining, and shedding dust gets ground down and coated, and the reviews that follow tend to describe the same before-and-after: a floor that reads as new in a building that isn't. The company works out of 88 Walnut St in Belmont and says it has been in the flooring trade for more than twenty years as a family-owned business, doing the work in-house rather than handing it to subcontractors. Its own site describes the range as industrial-grade epoxy, polyurea, polyaspartic, and metallic coatings, plus concrete floor repair, for houses and commercial spaces alike. The Google page carries a 5-star average across 18 ratings, and the review history runs from 2024 into 2026 across four sources — a real but modest record rather than a deep one. What holds it together is how consistent it is. A homeowner this June hired the company to seal a 95-year-old garage floor that was crumbling and coating everything stored in the space with dust; the crew, led by Adam Reese, came in on a competitive estimate, showed up on time, and finished in two days. Another June customer described the price as fair and the process smooth. In April, someone who collected three quotes chose Platinum as the middle price and noted that the people who show up to do the floor are the same ones who sold the job. That last detail is the through-line: this is a small, owner-present operation, and reviewers keep noticing it — communication, punctuality, and no handoff between the person quoting and the person with the grinder. Nobody in the record describes a job that went wrong. A few things are worth knowing before you call. Almost all the specific work described is coatings — epoxy, polyaspartic, polyurea, metallic — on garages, basements, and workshops, so if you want hardwood, tile, or carpet, this probably isn't the shop. The twenty-years figure and the claim of never subcontracting are the company's own; ask who will actually be on site. The "leading Garage Floor Coating in Cambridge" badge circulating on an awards site is self-promotional in nature and worth nothing next to the actual customer accounts. Good call for a homeowner with a tired concrete garage, basement, or shop floor who wants it coated by a small crew that does the work itself. Confirm the surface prep, the specific coating system being quoted, and what the warranty covers before scheduling.

Adam with Platinum Flooring did an outstanding job on our garage floor. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations, the price was very fair, and the entire process was smooth and professional. The floor looks fantastic, and we’ve already received several compliments. I highly recommend Adam if you’re looking for top-quality workmanship at a fair price. Thanks again!

I hired Platinum Flooring LLC to seal my 95 year garage floor. The cement was degrading and producing copious amounts of dust that settled on everything stored in the space. Adam Reese and his team provided me a very competitive estimate, they arrived on time and completed the project in 2 days. My scheduling of the project included adding a drain to the front of the garage (performed by another excellent contractor) which meant that the Platinum team had to leave about 8 inches at the entrance uncoated until the drain project was completed. Adam offered to come back (at the same price) and finish the job when project 2 was complete. He returned and completed the coating. I could not be happier with the results. The epoxy coating exceeded my expectations. The Platinum team is professional, responsive, and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend Platinum Flooring.

We had a great experience choosing Platinum flooring after getting 3 quotes. They were the middle price and clearly really experienced. We really appreciated that the people you meet up front are the same people who do your floor. Great communication, really high quality product and good warranty. We would definitely use this small business again and highly recommend them over larger competitors.

I'm extremely pleased with the job Adam and his colleague did epoxying my garage floor! Both men were extremely polite and professional and did fast, excellent work and the 40-year-old floor, now looks brand-new. I also really appreciated that Adam was very communicative, responsive, and reliable. He went out of his way to meet my needs and charged a very fair price. I can't recommend Adam/Platinum Flooring highly enough!!
