Precision Painting LLC is a family-owned interior and exterior painting business run by Frank, self-reporting cabinet refinishing and pressure washing alongside painting, and serving Worcester, Marlborough, and Framingham, Massachusetts. The company's Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license shows as expired in the state registry. A handful of older reviews describe positive experiences -- a 2022 review describes a clear estimate and responsive communication before an interior color-change job, and a few 2024 reviews offer general praise for Frank's work being neat, clean, and outstanding without much specific detail. A 2025 review raises a serious concern: the reviewer describes an exterior and great room paint job that began peeling extensively months after moving in, and says they connected with Frank about it early in 2025. Anyone considering Precision Painting should confirm current licensing status directly, ask specifically about the paint products and prep process used, and get a clear written warranty on the work, given the recent complaint about premature peeling.

We are extremely disappointed with the quality of the work, service, and integrity of Precision Painting. Months after moving into our home, the "freshly painted" exterior and great room began peeling extensively (see photos). We connected with Frank early in 2025 -- reviewed the problems with him and even agreed that to wait for a representative at Sherwin Williams to have the paint tested to see if it was an issue with the makeup of the paint--and not poor prep work that was causing the issue. When those results finally came in, it was proved that the paint was not compromised. Frank told us on multiple occasions that he would "take care of the issue at no cost," yet after months of delays and excuses, he walked away claiming no contractual obligation. We even offered to sign an agreement stating that if he simply fixed the immediate problems (not the entire exterior), we would release him from any future responsibility so we could amicably part ways. Despite these concessions, Frank has stopped communicating altogether. To make matters worse, when Frank first came to our house, we also showed him the interior issues, he told us that precision did not paint our living room, and wanting to believe him, we took his word and dropped the matter. Sadly, the selling agent just confirmed that he was being untruthful and he did paint the living room (see photos). We can’t even open the windows in our living room without sheets of paint coming up. We’ve tried to be more than fair throughout this process. Coming from a family of self‑employed tradesmen, we do not take writing a negative review lightly. At this point we feel obligated to share our experience so others in the community are aware.
I’ve worked with Frank on many projects. His work is always neat and clean. His customers love him. I have no trouble or concerns when I recommend Frank at Precision Painting to my customers. You will not be disappointed if you give him a call.
I have had the distinct pleasure of seeing on many occasions. Exceptional quality!
He does outstanding work!
We wanted to freshen up our dark dining room red color with a beige, and my daughter also wanted to change her room color from avocado green to a light purple. Frank gave us an estimate and time he could come by. He answered my questions leading up to the job and he came when he said he would and finished the job in a timely manner. We thought about doing it ourselves, but really didn't want to tackle that project. I thought he was going to prep out the rooms first with tape, etc., but NOPE. He really is precise with his brushes!! We're VERY impressed with the detail of work he does. He also noted some random spots on the ceiling and patches near the front door that he could touch up, which was really nice of him. His edging is on pointe and he was neat about his work, cleaned up after himself too. He completed the 2 rooms, with multiple coats, in 4 days....MUCH faster than we could have done on our own!
