Rave Pools is a Norwalk inground pool and spa service company, founded in 2014 by its own account, that customers hire to open, maintain and close their pools; Jessica and Jaime are the names they use. Google shows 4.8 stars from 43 ratings, and a listing on mofflylifestylemedia.com names it under Pool Design. The longer-term customers are warm. In a September 2022 Google review, a first-time customer said the company opened, maintained and closed their pool and was upfront and followed through on everything. An April 2022 Angi customer said Rave restored their existing pool, fixed a leak no one else could and installed a new filter. A June 2024 customer said the crew notifies them when they are almost at the house and reports the work done, the pool's condition and the chemicals added. The recent complaints are about the opening visits. In a June 2026 Google review, a 2-star customer said that after a May 23rd 2026 opening and a cleaning a week later, the crew left the cover out and the plugs all over the ground, and charged for chlorine tablets that were not in the baskets. A July 2023 Angi customer said the crew told them the pump did not work and quoted a $1,500 pump, when it had not been plugged in or the breaker turned on. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.9 stars from 32 ratings. The company serves towns from Greenwich and Stamford to Fairfield, Trumbull and Easton.
“Pool Design RAVE POOLS 64 Wall Street, Norwalk, (203) 856-4842”
I hired rave pools for a pool opening May 23rd 2026 and then a pool cleaning one week later. They did open the pool and clean it so they get 2 stars for that. Where I'm unhappy is that they didn't clean up after themselves. They left the cover out (they should've put it back in the pool shed), they left the plugs all over ground so I had to hunt them down (I think I'm still missing one). They charged me for a bunch of chemicals which included 3 chlorine tablets except that there were no chlorine tabs in the baskets and they definitely never bothered to even open the chlorinator because had they opened it, they would have seen how it shoots water everywhere (busted O-ring probably). However, the pool is no longer green so they must have put some of those chemicals in so I didn't dispute it. My filter leaks a little when shut off, which was never mentioned and I figured they would have noticed if they actually backwashed it... but they did add the pressure gage, (which is busted, barely readable and needs replacement). Basically... they did the work but the absolute bare minimum Considering that I was charged $973 for all of the services + chemicals, I would have expected them to at least clean up after themselves and double check the equipment.
Jessica snd her team were very professional and easy to work with, and I am very pleased with their work!!
overall a good experience! 🙂
Response to Rave Pools: I'm confused and concerned by your response because I followed up for the filter quote twice since it was first mentioned to me and I did not receive it. If anything, each time I asked it was as if it was the first time I was bringing this up. The comment on having a similar experience with another pool company is an absolute lie. I hope you record your phone conversations so you can verify this on your end. I also understand the pool being ready is not something you can guarantee which is why I was trying to schedule an appointment as soon as possible and the huge delay was on your end. To address the dates you listed. I received the estimate at 7:18pm on 5/12 and approved the estimate on 5/13. This is also after calling multiple times to move this along. I can't stress enough to anyone checking reviews how terrible this company's communication is and not to use them. ________________________________________________________________ Tried to call this company to hire for our pool service. Huge waste of time. Terrible service and communication. Took so long to get an estimate. Each time I spoke to the rep we were going over all the details as if it was my first time calling. Told me we needed a larger filter. When I asked if I was getting the estimate for the filter, person asked me if we needed a new filter. YOU'RE THE ONE WHO TOLD ME WE NEED IT. This company is so bad at taking down information to set up the first visit, I can't trust they would do a good job with the pool cleaning.
They gave us professional and regular service, with a nice modern online setup for behind-the-scenes billing and communication.
