RELCO (Reilly Electrical Contractors, Inc.) is a family-owned electrical and telecommunications contracting company founded in 1993 by the late Jim Reilly, a Massachusetts master electrician. The company is headquartered in Easton, MA with additional offices on Cape Cod, in Rhode Island, and in New Hampshire, and now operates as part of the Crete United network. By its own description, RELCO's core business is bid and design/build electrical work for general contractors and institutional and commercial clients -- healthcare facilities, colleges and universities, life-sciences buildings, and sports venues -- across New England. Google reviewers, however, describe hiring the company directly for individual home electrical work, including a request to run a 220-volt circuit for a clothes dryer, so it does take on residential jobs alongside its commercial contracting. Feedback is mixed and thin. A 2025 review from another business praises RELCO as reasonably priced and easy to work with for its own customers' electrician needs. Brief reviews from 2021 and 2023 call the crew professional and the pricing prompt and affordable. A more detailed 2024 review describes a homeowner who was told a technician would follow up with a quote, then had to call repeatedly over weeks, was reassured each time by office staff, and ultimately received an email from the technician saying he didn't recognize the customer's name -- the reviewer said they gave up and looked elsewhere. Ask about current responsiveness and quote turnaround for smaller residential jobs before booking, especially given RELCO's primary focus on larger commercial and institutional projects. Confirm insurance and any state electrical licensing directly, since neither is stated on the company's own site.

My business uses Relco for all of our customer's electrician needs. Great company, reasonable prices, and easy to work with!
Called and had someone come out to quote running a 220 circuit into our house for installing a clothes dryer. Met the individual (Scott) and was told he’d get me a quote. I didn’t hear so I called. Patrice assured me she would have Scott get back to me. After two more calls and more assurances I finally emailed them through their website stating that if I didn’t hear back that day I would make other arrangements. Scott (yes I assume the same Scott that I met) emailed me back and asked what I was looking for because he didn’t recognize my name. What???? Needless to say I’m looking for someone else for my project. So bottom line unless you have a big project don’t bother with Relco.
Prompt and affordable. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer!
Excellent work provided by a very professional crew.
