Renaissance Builders holds Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration 212798, confirmed directly against the state registry under the company's own name, and its permit record runs to 161 projects. For a Lynnfield builder that is an unusually solid paper trail, and it is the right place to start. Roofing and siding are what most people hire it for, but the jobs described run much larger. Customers describe a complete rehab from the studs up covering shingles, siding and windows; a master suite addition and kitchen remodel on top of a roof replacement; and one large addition with a family room, laundry room and new bathroom that also took in a patio, a new bulkhead, full vinyl siding, roofing tied into the original roof, and rerouting water from an underground spring. One customer had the whole house remodelled in 2016 and came back in 2022 for an in-law addition. Owner Jerry Scoppettuolo is named repeatedly and personally. Reviewers credit him with answering questions directly, quoting prices up front, and running crews that arrive on time and clean up daily; one singles out the office staff and a dependable set of subcontractors. Another says there were no additional charges at the end of a large job. Prices appear openly in the reviews, from $8,500 for a roof up to $495,000 for the addition. Its permit history reaches Marblehead: a $685,000 addition at Robert Road there was completed in 2021, alongside a Revere deck rebuild, Danvers and Topsfield siding, an East Boston fire-damage rebuild and a Malden kitchen and bathroom remodel. It also does commercial work - a 2024 Burlington retail-to-spa conversion, and in a 2021 review a hospitality worker described a brewery and taproom fit-out as the nicest brewery they had worked in. Two things to weigh. Its Angi and HomeAdvisor profiles are the same page under two names, so its ten five-star reviews are one platform rather than two, and nine of those ten were posted in the same month, which usually means a solicitation push. And directory licence listings for this business are a tangle - two older registration numbers, 119923 and 152428, are shown as cancelled, and 212798 appears twice with contradictory verification states. The registry-confirmed number is 212798; use that one.

Renaissance Builders were fantastic! They were quick, on top of everything, and always available for questions. Our roof came out great and the price was very affordable. Looking forward to working with them again.

Renaissance builders put on a large addition, family room, laundry room and new bathroom. They also did the patio and added the bulkhead that we didn't have. They vinyl sided the house and did beautiful roofing to tie the addition into the original roof. The inside was finished beautifully When I wanted a change they were completely accommodating. This company is professional, friendly and trustworthy. There were no additional charges at the end. The bathroom and laundry room tiles are gorgeous and installed perfectly. We have an underground spring nearby and the diverted the water to the back We could not be happier.
