A recent customer whose boiler was sending black smoke out the chimney said Clayton, the service tech, found a wrong nozzle installed by another company and got the hot water back the same day. A recent customer said Reynolds repiped the whole first floor of a newly bought home at a reasonable price. A recent customer with no water on a holiday weekend said Kirtis and his worker Keith installed a new water pump, and water was back in less than 24 hours. A recent customer said Clayton resolved a weekend water heater failure within 24 hours. A 2026 customer with no heat on a Saturday said they arrived in the snow and worked on a non-working gas boiler. A 2025 customer said Kirtis and his team upgraded an old oil boiler to a new propane boiler and hot water heater and reconfigured the baseboard plumbing. A 2023 customer said Kirtis had a new water heater installed and running less than 24 hours after a burst. A recent customer said a friend's package deal led to an appointment fee, then a second invoice larger than the first, and that Kurtis raged at them over the phone when they asked about payment options. A recent customer wrote that an initial invoice stated $370.81 for a 2 hour service call, and the final invoice treated that sum as the first hour only. A recent customer said the voicemail was full. A 2025 customer said one of four boilers Reynolds installed stopped working about every 2 weeks and that Reynolds refused to come back. A 2025 customer from Monroe said they were told a non-customer would be charged $500 just for the visit. A 2024 customer said a whole house water heater was installed with a gas line far too small in diameter and another company had to redo it.
We were referred to Reynolds by a friend who said they were coming through our area with a "package deal" that (allegedly) would be billed at a "group rate" for regular cleaning and service. After the initial visit for annual cleaning & service, our HVAC "suddenly" stopped working. It seemed coincidental based on the fact that the system had been in fine working order two weeks prior, but we called and the Reynolds tech came through again to "check things out" (mind you we had already paid $150 for the "appointment fee", plus what was billed for the initial service - $$$$). When we were sent a second bill based on the follow up servicing to finish up what was promised for the initial cleaning and servicing, a few days later we were hit with a second invoice that was larger than the first one. I then called Kurtis directly to ask if he could "work with us" on payment. He essentially started "raging out" at us over the phone, claimed we were "screwing him" and said he would never service us again (mind you, we had every intention of paying the second invoice and simply were looking for payment options). It's sad because our service tech Clayton was AWESOME and we found him very friendly (he should go start his own company) Can't say the same for the owner.... If I could give "zero stars" I would.... (Please do better) This was absolutely the worst customer service experience of our lives! I'm sorry you apparently bit off more than you could chew. More up-front transparency on how and why you are billing people would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
Beware deceptive billing, expect to be double charged: first, 5 stars to Clayton, the service tech who did the work. Friendly and efficient, did great work, no complaints. However, they send an initial invoice that clearly states $370.81 total for a 2 Hour service call. Then when the final invoice arrives, suddenly $370.81 is only for the FIRST hour, and they tack on more for any additional time. Trying to resolve this directly was futile, they refused to even acknowledge the discrepancy.
Our boiler started bellowing heavy black smoke out the chimney. We called in the morning on a recommendation of a friend. Clayton(service tech) showed up a little while later and discovered the previous tech from another company did not fully clean the furnace for two years as they had said they did and installed the completely wrong nozzle which was blasting fuel into the chamber causing heavy soot buildup, almost destroying the furnace. It ended up being more than what he expected but he got it done and done right!! Got our hot water fired back up the same day. Thank you!!
Called several times and the voicemail was full. There was no way to leave a message.
Reynolds plumbing is the best. I bought a new home and the plumbing started backing up in my sinks, dishwasher and washing machine the same day we moved in. Reynolds plumbing repiped my entire first floor as the pipes were all old and at bad angles. Not only did Reynolds give us a reasonable price, they got the job done several weeks sooner than any of the other companies I had gotten estimates from. Thanks to Reynolds, my family has working plumbing in our new home and that giant nightmare of not even being able to wash one dish at a time without fear of back ups is over! I would highly recommend them.
