Rooter-Man

Call in the morning, draining by lunch. That is the story customers keep telling about Rooter-Man in Framingham: a May 2026 caller had Pedro at the door within an hour of phoning; a customer writing in November 2024 called at 9:30 and had Nick working by 10:15; one in June 2024 called at 9:00, had a technician there at 9:30 and the problem repaired by 10:30. The company says it has been locally owned and operated in Framingham for more than 40 years, and the work is narrow on purpose: residential and commercial drain and sewer cleaning, camera inspections and high-pressure jetting, across Framingham, Natick, Sudbury, Marlborough, Hopkinton, Franklin and a dozen other MetroWest towns. Across 80 Google ratings averaging 4.7, the technicians get named — Carlos, Matt, Pedro, Nick, Tony, Trevor — which is not how most drain companies get written about. Price comes up almost as often as speed. A customer in August 2026 put it next to the national chain, calling Rooter-Man far more reasonably priced than Roto-Rooter. In March 2026 a homeowner whose shower had drained slowly for years, through several plumbers, said Matt fixed it that day without breaking the bank. In November 2025 another customer, told by a different company that a main line was broken and could not be cleared past five feet, said Carlos cleared two lines all the way to the street, over 100 feet. The one-star reviews are about the phone rather than the work, and they come from 2022 and 2023. A caller in October 2023 said the person on the line hung up when they questioned a bill; an April 2022 caller reported being told to get someone else. A November 2023 reviewer objected to paying $250 to auger a toilet. That same month another caller was told the company handles drains only and that its own website was out of date, which is worth settling on the phone if you were hoping for general plumbing. For a clogged kitchen sink, a backed-up main or routine sewer-line maintenance around Framingham, this is an easy call and the speed customers describe is consistent. Ask what the visit costs before the truck rolls, and if the job is anything other than drain and sewer work, confirm they still take it.
