Jose and me signed a contract and agreed on a start date. I coordinated everything around that schedule, including notifying my tenants and making arrangements for access. After signing the contract, Jose informed me that he decided to take on additional work for another customer because they asked him to build their front stairs using leftover materials. As a result, he postponed my project by several days. When I expressed my concerns, he admitted it was his decision, apologized, and said he had to finish the other job first. While I appreciated the apology, once a contract is signed, I expect the agreed schedule to be honored or at least discussed before making changes. If honoring the agreed schedule is important to you, I recommend confirming the start date and getting a commitment before making plans around the project.

Ricardo and his team did a great job on my Decking project. He showed up on a Sunday to look at the job, and his team worked through a heat wave ( drinking Pedialyte) followed by a rainstorm. Some people make excuses, some people show up and get the job done. That's what I can say about the team. The deck speaks for itself.
