Santini Remodeling describes itself as a family rooted in Ridgefield, and its Houzz profile names Chris Santini as president and owner and a former Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Chief. On its BBB page the company lists remodeling, kitchen and bathroom design/build, additions and project management.
A 2024 Houzz reviewer said they completely gutted a 100-year-old farmhouse and that the whole house was completed in 7 months, with all new windows, plumbing, radiant heat on the main floor, a new roof, a new kitchen, three new bathrooms and a three-story addition on the back.
A 2024 customer who hired the company for two bathroom upgrades and hardwood floors said that, apart from plumbing and electrical, the people doing the work were Santini employees rather than subcontractors, and that the owner stopped by frequently to discuss details. A 2024 Houzz reviewer said Chris did their whole house renovation 10 years earlier, including the kitchen, bathrooms, windows, siding and roof, and that they called him again for an addition with an extended eat-in kitchen and a new en-suite bath. A 2023 Google reviewer said they love their new kitchen and bathroom. In 2013, a Houzz reviewer said Chris replaced their roof that spring, after replacing windows and doors for them in the previous couple of years, and called his prices fair.
A 2022 Houzz reviewer gave one star, describing the company as very poor in quality, service, use of materials and professionalism, and said the cost was not cheap.
Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0570455, as active, held by Santini Remodeling.
