A customer wrote in 2024 that Anthony Santo's crew is “unapologetically over communicative” — and meant it as praise. That is what keeps coming back in Santo Electric's reviews: the phone gets answered, the quote arrives, and somebody tells you what is happening. Santo says he took electrical courses in high school, went straight into an apprenticeship after graduating, and later started out on his own. His site describes him as a master electrician working alongside two journeymen, Rick Gagnon and Mike Mckay, and an apprentice who also runs the office. The work they list is the heavier end of residential electrical: whole-house rewires, service and panel upgrades, knob-and-tube inspections, panel restorations, and generator installation and maintenance. Seventeen Google ratings average five stars, and the seven written accounts, running 2021 through July 2025, tell versions of the same story. A homeowner who called on a Monday morning in 2021 said Anthony came by that evening and emailed a detailed quote. In a December 2022 review, a customer described a major electrical upgrade and an emergency generator installation done promptly, neatly and at a reasonable price. The newest account, from July 2025, is shorter: good communication, prompt service. Two things to keep in mind. This is a four-person shop, so a big rewire competes with the day's service calls for the same crew — ask about scheduling before you commit. And the written history, consistent as it is, is short and not current; the last account was posted in July 2025. If you have a panel that needs upgrading, a knob-and-tube house, or a generator to put in, this is a straightforward call to make. Ask for the estimate in writing — that is how customers describe getting it.
