Matt Scioletti is a one-man Cape Cod plumbing shop, and the reviews read like it: almost every one of the 185 Google ratings behind his 4.9 average names him personally, and what they name him for is speed. A leaking faucet fixed the same day it was called in, in a July 2025 review. A ceiling leaking through from a relative's botched toilet repair over the Fourth of July weekend — a 2023 reviewer wrote that he called back Friday night, talked them through the water shutoff, and came the next day. Working out of Centerville, the jobs run across everyday plumbing and gas. Faucets and fixtures, pipe repairs in crawl spaces, appliance hookups, and outdoor showers — a distinctly Cape Cod job that three reviewers between 2022 and 2025 describe him repairing or replacing. Gas work is a real second lane: a 2025 reviewer got a detailed proposal for a new gas line in a day and the install a week later, and others describe gas log sets and a fireplace insert. Heating shows up too, including a November 2025 customer whose heating system he repaired and replaced, scheduling the work around their hours. One thing to settle before booking: the Massachusetts plumber license on file, number 27041-PL-J, held by Matthew Ryan Scioletti, is expired in the state registry. A 4.9 average doesn't answer that — ask him about it directly. The other thing worth asking about is what happens after the install. The most recent review, from May 2026, is from someone who bought a house with a Scioletti-installed boiler; less than four years on it was losing hot water and throwing error codes, and they wrote that he never followed up and told them to find someone else because he didn't have time. A June 2025 reviewer described the reverse of the responsiveness everyone else praises: an appointment booked through the online scheduler, a confirmation voicemail that drew no callback, then no-show. Against 98 reviews running from 2021 to 2026, those are two accounts, not a pattern — but they are the two most recent critical ones, and both are about reachability rather than the quality of the work itself. He's a strong call for the well-defined job you want handled quickly: a leak, a fixture, an appliance or gas hookup, an outdoor shower before the renters arrive. For anything as big as a boiler or a heating system, confirm the license status first and get the callback and warranty terms in writing.
“Matt came on very short notice to attend to an outdoor shower issue. Very responsive and returned text messages at lightening speed. Very grateful knowing he is accessible and prompt.”
Installed a boiler in a house I bought. Less than 4 years it's having issues, no hot water, different error codes, and I can't get him to come and service it. Never followed up and told me to find someone else because he doesn't have time.
Repeat customer... very satisfied, which is why I keep coming back!
Got the job done quickly and efficiently at a reasonable price!
