Kitchen layouts and contractor coordination feature in SDC Kitchen and Bath's customer accounts. In a June 2025 Google review, a condo customer said Camila redesigned a small kitchen to make it more usable, then lined up plumbers, electricians, carpenters and HVAC technicians when demolition revealed surprises. A May 2025 customer described a complete kitchen remodel with Michael, praising design suggestions, regular updates, daily cleanup and completion on time and within budget. SDC is based in West Yarmouth and describes its work as custom cabinetry and countertop design and manufacturing, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, cabinet refacing and tile backsplashes. The company says it began in a small garage and has crafted cabinets and countertops for Cape Cod since 1993. Older customers often referred to it as Countertop Stop. Google shows a 4.5-star average from 42 ratings, with written accounts spanning 2022 through January 2026. A December 2025 customer who renovated both a kitchen and bathroom said Kate and Camilla helped with layout, cabinet and tile choices, and computer-generated pictures of the finished spaces. They reported a quick completion and a final cost under budget. A June 2025 reviewer praised Michael Ohm's coordination of several contractors for a master-bath renovation. Countertop customers also describe the work in detail. In October 2024, a customer praised the demolition, templating and installation of Cambria quartz kitchen countertops, with Camila and Michael staying involved from estimate to completion. They said a small error was fixed. In February 2023, a condo customer described countertop, sink and faucet replacement plus a tile backsplash, praising communication and a prompt correction of an installation mix-up. Two older customers reported substantial problems. In November 2024, one said a 12-by-12-foot kitchen remodel and bathroom-floor replacement took more than three months, with numerous problems involving subcontractors and staff. They said the problems were eventually fixed, but did not recommend the company. A December 2022 reviewer alleged that the countertop price was 76% above the estimate and that an additional $700 electrical charge appeared without approval. They described cabinet-door interference, measurement and countertop-edge problems, and a worker yelling in front of their family. The customer said some corrections were made, but the door still hit the counter, emails seeking a remedy were ignored, and a payment notice threatened legal action. Separately, a positive January 2023 reviewer said custom cabinets took seven months to complete before installation work began, followed by nine weeks to finish the job.
