Yellow jackets, hornets and wasps bring many customers to Security Pest Elimination, and what they often mention is speed. In a July 2025 Google review, a homeowner called first thing in the morning about a yellow jacket nest, had a technician there a couple of hours later, and said the yellow jackets were gone in under 24 hours. Another that month said Jim arrived within an hour and got their office running again within a few hours. The Lowell company says it was founded in 1993 as a Massachusetts family business, and its site lists pest, rodent, termite, bed bug, bat, squirrel and tick work across Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Customers often name their technician: Jim, many times in July 2025, and also John, Ray and Bill. In a May 2026 review, a customer on a residential service plan said visits are scheduled quickly whenever a concern comes up, covered by the annual fee, and a June 2026 customer said John sprayed around the pool and walkway for ants. One long-time client wrote in June 2025 that they had used the company for 19 or 20 years, starting with a major carpenter ant infestation and continuing with yearly ant barrier treatments. Mice come up too: a December 2024 reviewer said the mice started taking the bait within three days, and a June 2024 reviewer described Jose returning for years to handle a persistent mouse problem. A March 2026 one-star reviewer said the company did not follow through on what it said it would do. An October 2025 customer said a yellow jacket problem was not resolved after the first treatment. In December 2021, a customer paid $295 for mouse bait stations and said there was no sealing of entry points and no re-checks. The company is BBB-accredited with an A+ grade.
