Sedona Plumbing and Heating is the Winchester-based team built around owner Zack (also written Zach across reviews), and the thing that comes up again and again across 61 reviews since 2022 — nearly all of them five stars — is how fast they show up when something's actually wrong. In a January 2025 review, Zack came out on a Saturday morning after a heating system failed on one of the coldest nights of the year and tracked down the issue in what the customer called a very complicated system. In a November 2025 review, a first-time customer described an after-hours emergency call when a furnace shut down; Zack arrived within 40 minutes on a cold Friday night and fixed it. The range of work is wide and often technical. In a 2023 review, a customer described Zack re-piping an entire AC system after a blockage, insulating the pipes, and swapping in a new filter, all in one day. In a 2024 review, another described him fixing a string of issues left behind by a less-skilled previous plumber — toilet flow, washer/dryer hookups, a shower faucet — and later talking them through a fix over the phone at no charge. A separate 2024 review described replacing all the deteriorating horizontal copper pipe in a 1956 house, the same day, with a last-minute outdoor spigot repair thrown in. More recently, reviewers name Andrew, Billy, James, and Tori as additional technicians doing well-received work, alongside office staff Danielle, credited repeatedly with fast, clear scheduling. There's one real exception to the otherwise spotless record: in an April 2025 review, a landlord said a tenant called Sedona for a garbage disposal replacement, the request for a quote never reached them before the work was done, and the final bill of $635 came in well above two other quotes they later got for the same job ($430 and $500). Its Massachusetts plumbing license is active, verified with the state. Sedona is a reasonable first call for both plumbing and heating/cooling work, especially anything urgent — the one thing worth doing is confirming pricing yourself in writing before work starts, particularly if someone else at the property might field the call.
