Sewer Works is a Westford, Massachusetts septic company that installs, pumps, and inspects residential septic systems, with a second office in Acton. The business says it has been providing Title 5 septic inspections since 1978, and is owned by D. Chandler. The two written reviews on file, from 2016 and 2017, are both five stars. One customer, arranging a Title 5 inspection before listing a house for sale, said they searched around and picked Sewer Works for its strong reviews and pricing. Another described a septic pump job where the owner located the tank's inlet himself with no outside help, finishing within a week of the initial call. Sewer Works' Google listings — split across its main profile and a Title 5-specific one — both show a perfect five-star record, though from a small number of ratings. Before booking, ask directly about current licensing — the company states its technicians are licensed wastewater treatment plant operators, but that credential is self-reported and hasn't been verified against a state registry. The written review history is also dated: nothing on file is more recent than 2017, so it's worth asking about recent project references. Sewer Works also says it handles sewer main work, alternative septic systems, and winter snowplowing, and lists service towns across the Nashoba Valley and MetroWest area including Concord, Chelmsford, Andover, and Groton. It's a reasonable call for a homeowner needing a Title 5 inspection or septic pump/installation in that corridor, provided the operator credential is confirmed directly.
I wanted to have a title 5 inspection on my septic system in the event I put my house on the market in the next year or 2. My neighbor (aka mother in law) also wanted a title 5. I called around and got some high prices. I then did a search of who had the best reviews and Dave came up. Talking to Dave he said he could squeeze it in before the 4th of July holiday and he offered a discount for doing both houses at once. He was prompt and professional. Did a complete inspection and explained everything. He also has license #35 so he’s been doing this for a long time. I highly recommend using Dave for your title 5 or any septic needs.
I was looking for some one in my community to get the septic flushed/pumped. Glad I found Dave. It took a total of 1 week from the time I contacted him till the work was done. I had no clue where the pump/inlet was, but Dave figured it out by himself with no help from anyone. He was to the point and professional. I will be using him in the future for sure and will recommend his services for sure.
