In a July 2022 review, a homeowner wrote that they called Colin at the end of June about replacing the 50-plus-year-old aluminum siding on their home, and by the second week of July the house was vinyl-sided. Colin came to the house to show the options and took care of the paperwork, and the crew was led by Larkin and Nelsen. Shaw Remodeling is based in Niantic, its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration (HIC.0612957) is active with the state in the name of Shaw Remodeling LLC, and its website lists towns from East Lyme to Branford. In August 2026 a reviewer wrote that Jason and John were at their home for four weeks on what the reviewer called a more challenging project, and praised the communication and back-office support. An April 2026 reviewer said Jason and crew built a carport on the side of a shed and then came back to rebuild a deck. In a February 2026 review, a customer had Will and Chris do a shower remodel and a closet reconfiguration, working around the customer's schedule when work got busy. A January 2026 reviewer hired the company for handyman services on a long list of jobs, named Colin as the owner, and said Dan came out soon and suggested how to remedy problems. In a February 2023 review, a new-house buyer wrote that Shaw Remodeling handled their kitchen, floors and an upgrade to the HVAC system.
Exceptionally pleased. I am particular and was very satisfied with the quality of the team, the quality of work (the his was a more challenging project), the communication and payment and back office support. Could not be more satisfied. Jason and John were well qualified, courteous, clean and a joy to have around our home for 4 weeks.
We had Jason & crew to build a carport on side of our shed, then back to re-build our deck. We were pleased with their work, & we would definitely have them back for other projects
Recently had Will and Chris for a shower remodel and a closet reconfiguration. They were super nice guys and did a great job. I was appreciative that they were available to accommodate my work schedule when work got busy at one point during the project. Very happy with the results, thanks guys!
We contracted with Shaw Modeling for their handyman services. They were recommended to us by a well known hospital’s life services department. The process of estimating and contracting was easy and quick. Prices were reasonable. Colin, the owner, and all office staff were cordial and efficient. We had a long list of things to do. They sent Dan to our house very soon and he was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, quick to suggest the best way to remedy problems and very efficient. He was also kind and affable. We are very happy with Shaw Remodeling.
Allen was excellent and knowledgeable, and clean. We would recommend him and the company highly.
