Pool construction and the service that follows both feature in Shoreline Pools customers’ accounts. A Chatham homeowner writing in July 2026 described help through approvals, design, installation and ongoing service, naming Dillan for his work on design and installation. Another July reviewer said the company had maintained their pool for six years after building it, including seasonal openings and closings. Shoreline is in South Dennis and says it designs, builds, renovates and services Cape Cod swimming pools, including leak detection and repair. The company names Chris Dittrich as founder and president and says it opened in 2006. BBB gives a different business start date, January 2011. It has an A+ BBB grade and is not BBB accredited. The Massachusetts state registry confirms Shoreline Pools Inc’s home improvement contractor registration 161240 is active. Google publishes a 4.5-star rating from 53 ratings. A June 2026 customer said their pool project finished on time and on budget; a July customer reported the same for a gunite installation and said the team handled a difficult conservation situation under Brewster’s guidelines. A June reviewer in Sandwich described Chris explaining the options and helping design the backyard, with a project manager available throughout. For ongoing care, a June customer described weekly pool visits and replies to questions within about an hour. A May customer said the team had installed a new liner after years of servicing the pool. Follow-through has also drawn complaints. In July 2026, a customer whose pool was built in 2021 said a problem first addressed in 2023 had returned, that Chris promised a visit, and that nobody arrived or answered subsequent calls, texts and emails. They said they could not use the pool midway through summer. Older complaints describe other difficulties. An October 2022 reviewer alleged repeated replastering, a blotchy finish, grout loss, property damage and unanswered calls after work stretching back to 2018. A July 2022 customer said communication stopped after they signed a contract and that the promised summer installation had not happened. In contrast, a customer writing in October 2024 described a pool rehabilitation involving a new liner, coping and decking, with the crew arriving on time each day.
