Thirty-one Google reviews stretching back to 2021, and the thing that keeps surfacing isn't the install — it's what happens afterwards. In a 2022 review a homeowner whose gutter section had started draining badly a year after installation said the crew came back within two days and repaired it at no charge; a February 2025 customer described a small oversight on a cleaning job that was acknowledged and corrected as soon as they called. South Shore Gutter Monkeys says it is owned by Dennis Siggins and Andy Brennan and operates as part of the American Gutter Monkeys franchise family, covering the Plymouth County towns from Weymouth and Hingham down to Plymouth, plus Cohasset. Its own site is inconsistent about how long it has been at it — the homepage reads "Since 2017" while the block repeated on every page reads "Since 2014" — and its BBB file gives a business start date of 1 July 2023. A March 2025 Cape Cod Times article describes Siggins and Brennan as the owners of both the Cape Cod and the South Shore Gutter Monkeys, and Siggins talked through the company's year-round cleaning, installation and repair work on WATD 95.9's morning show in April 2025. The work customers actually write about is narrow and consistent: seasonal cleanouts, resealing leaking corners, re-hanging sections that had come down, and 5- and 6-inch seamless aluminium installs. Crew names recur across years — John, Nate, Drew, Ray, Bobby. In a January 2026 review a repeat customer described a technician turning down that day's ice-dam work because the truck was out of calcium chloride, telling them to wait until after the next storm rather than pay a minimum fee twice. Pricing is the thing to pin down before booking. A June 2025 reviewer said a neighbour with a mirror-image house paid $175 for the same cover-and-gutter cleaning they were quoted $475 for, and in a February 2023 review another customer said their quote was under-measured by more than 100 linear feet, adding over $200 — caught before the job started, but caught by the customer. Get the linear footage and what the price includes in writing. They're the straightforward call for a South Shore homeowner who wants gutters cleaned, sealed or replaced by a crew that answers the phone and comes back when something isn't right. Two things to confirm: the quote in writing, and the address — the BBB file lists the business at 20 Evergreen Cir in Mashpee, on the Cape, and grades it A+ on a page that also states it is not BBB accredited.
