STAHL CONSTRUCTION

Charlie Stahl is an exceptionally skilled craftsman whom we have used for several projects in our home, including the installation of a panelled refrigerator and re-modeling of kitchen cabinetry. His sense of style and attention to detail is impeccable, and he is able to translate your ideas into an impressive finished product. We are pleased to recommend him as a person of extraordinary talent.

Charles is very professional and personable . Has great suggestions abd helps you make decisions. Highly recommended.

Charlie Stahl is the only contractor that we will ever hire to do work in our home because we trust him implicitly to do what he says he will do. He’s very talented and great at solving what ever problem should arise. He always strives for perfection and takes great pride in his work. He expects that of his subs, too. He’s a very honest man and always a pleasure to have in our home.

We acquired a 100 year-old house in Worcester that was beautiful but also had a 100 year-old master suite. We got a plan for a major renovation of the master suite and a guest bath on our second floor, and then began the "fun" of trying to find the right contractor to undertake this major renovation (in 2019, thank goodness, before the pandemic). On our first meeting with Charlie Stahl of Stahl Construction, we knew that we had found the right person. Charlie is straightforward, realistic, and a consummate professional. In that first meeting, in which we were expecting a sales pitch, he asked all the right questions about what needed to be done and the degree of disruption we could expect. He was thoughtful, listened intently, and ended the meting with a good sense that he could accomplish our vision. We went forward with him shhortly after that initial meeting. Having Stahl Construction do our renovation was a brilliant decision on our part! It is hard to enumerate all the ways that Charlie and his team excelled. They consulted with us endlessly, making sure that we were comfortable with the next steps in the process. They were always on time, and worked long days that always ended with a comprehensive clean-up. They installed plastic sheeting as dust guards to try to keep the rest of the house as clean as possible even as major demolition was going on. Charlie is a master craftsman who handcrafted a lot of parts that were necessary to complete the project. I also kidded Charlie that he must play chess because he was always thinking six moves ahead! It was fascinating and gratifying to see someone who is so good at what he does work so hard to help us achieve our goal. The end-product of Stahl's work is absolutely wonderful. In the end, the old bathroom and closet were renovated down to the studs, and we cannibalized a small bedroom to create a wolk-in closet and second-floor laundry room. Stahl subcontracted with excellent plumbers, electricians, and tile people to make sure that the right people were there for critical stages of the work. Most important, Charlie "owned" those decisions--he let us know that if we were less than completely happy with the work of others, it was on him. By the end of the process, we had achieved our dream, and we had also acquired a new friend. We missed Charlie's presence after the job was completed--the always cheerful, hardworking professional who we had come to fully appreciate during what is generally a painful process. We feel very fortunate to have worked with Stahl Construction and to have benefited from their outstanding work, creativity, and professionalism. As is obvious, we feel very lucky to have connected with Stahl Construction. We recommend them to anyone who has a job that needs to be done right and done with professionalism and communication.

Charlie's work cannot be beat. He is a dedicated and hard worker and was at our house first thing in the morning every morning while redoing our bathroom/mudroom area. He listened to exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly. He is well organized and the work he did came out better than I could have hoped! I am really hoping to have Charlie back soon for a bathroom remodel!
