Stuart Brown Electrician (SB3 Services) is an electrical contractor hired for residential electrical work, including baseboard heaters, lighting, outlets, panels, breakers, smoke detectors, doorbells, and generator connections. The available business profile identifies the company and its electrical focus, while the reviewed customer history provides the clearest detail about its work rather than a stated tenure or ownership history. Fourteen Google reviews dated 2021–2024 describe homeowners hiring Stuart for practical electrical projects. Reviews mention meticulous baseboard-heater installation and attention to conduit appearance, outdoor lighting and lamp-post replacement, smoke detectors and a doorbell, a whole-home-generator outlet, GFCI outlets, an electrical-panel consultation, and a dryer breaker repair. Many reviewers also describe fair pricing, professionalism, responsiveness, and cleanup; the profile reports 4.6 stars from 23 ratings. The record is not uniformly positive. A 2022 reviewer said a call was never returned, and a detailed 2023 review alleged a six-week delay, unexpected charges, and dissatisfaction with quoted outlet and light-fixture work. Those complaints make availability, scheduling, scope, and pricing worth confirming in writing before booking. Stuart appears best suited to homeowners seeking a residential electrician for clearly scoped installation or repair work, with licensing, insurance, timing, and the final estimate confirmed directly.
Stuart installed several baseboard heaters for us. Gave us a fair and reasonable price and did meticulous work. Took to heart our aesthetic requests about running conduits outside the building. Stuart took his time to make sure everything was done right and looked good as well, including cleaning up afterwards. It may take a while to get on his schedule, but he is worth the wait and we highly recommend him.
Stuart Brown was the third electrician I met but the only one who returned my subsequent phone calls & texts. The others simply “ghosted” me - totally unprofessional! Although my projects were put on a Waiting List, when Stuart did begin the work, he was both personable & professional, committed to the project which resulted in a masterful job. Both outside lamp posts and lanterns were replaced, requiring digging & cement footings and restoring a rock wall. The result: timed lighting illuminating my property, enhancing the view and providing safety to the dark area. Next, Stuart replaced the dropped ceiling in the basement, destroyed by busted frozen pipes & mice dropping which included updating the fluorescent lights to modern LED fixtures. However, Stuart’s most impressive work was his ingenuity in resolving the flooding problem in the basement. He caulked the bulkhead, realigned the gutter, removed blocking vegetation, thus altering the flow of water thereby eliminating any further flooding. Stuart assessed the situation and devised a viable solution. So, I’d say I am thrilled with STUART BROWN’s craftsmanship, ingenuity & fair pricing and therefore recommend him & his skills.
Great work thanks again!
I only hire licensed professional contractors that have come highly recommended from reviews of others. Stuart was one of those contractors and he was exactly what people had said about him and he was really great and checked all the boxes that I needed such as properly licensed, fully insured, professional, neat appearance and quality work & of course at a very fair price. I gave him the credit card deposit to book the job then after it was completed I paid him the balance owed by credit card. You can absolutely trust Stuart to do what he says he will do as outlined in the contract you sign with him.
It all started with 3 smoke detector combos and a shorted out doorbell. Stuart was the only one to answer after calling 10 other electricians. Not only that, but he committed to the job and stayed committed. He was on time, professional, but still friendly. In the course of conversation I found out that he does a lot of other work. He’ll actually be redoing our kitchen! Stuart also recommended people who do work he doesn’t do. He gave us the name of someone who can put up a new fence. Talk about good value for you money! Thanks so much for your work, Stuart!
