The company is BBB-accredited (A+ rating, accredited since 2020) and BuildZoom puts it in the top 12% of Massachusetts contractors by its scoring, with an active Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license listed there. There isn't a large public review record — four reviews on Google, all five stars, dated 2023 to 2025 — but each one describes a real, specific project rather than a generic compliment. One customer, after a three-year search for the right contractor, had Santiago gut-renovate a kitchen and bathroom and called the result "beyond my expectations," delivered on the agreed schedule and budget. Another had the crew rebuild a rotting roof deck with a properly anchored railing and re-angled roofing, on top of a number of other jobs, and praised daily cleanup and clear pricing throughout. Worth knowing: the record is thin enough that a few reviews carry a lot of weight, and BuildZoom itself shows only one permitted project (a Brookline basement and kitchen remodel) and no reviews on its own platform. There's also a discrepancy in how long the company has operated — its website says it's been doing construction since 1990, while BBB records it as 17 years old, incorporated in 2009 — worth asking Santiago directly which timeline is accurate.
