Three separate platforms, roughly 140 ratings between them, and one first name that keeps surfacing in the reviews: Billy. Superior Epoxy Flooring works out of Altamont Street in Haverhill with a crew of four, coating concrete rather than covering it — garage slabs, basement floors, workshops, in flake, metallic and Polycrete systems. Thumbtack has the owner background-checked as Billy Monroy and named the company a Top Pro in 2018, 2019 and again in 2025. Both Angi and HomeAdvisor state that Spanish is spoken. The written history runs unusually deep for a four-person shop: 39 reviews across the three sites going back to 2018. What makes them believable is their shape rather than their number. Lengths vary widely, customers name the crew and the product line, several walk through the actual sequence — grinding the slab, the coat, the flake broadcast, the seal — and prices get quoted openly. A 4.5 sits among the fives. Thumbtack's sample is the largest and the one worth weighting: 4.8 across 83 ratings, 93 percent of them five stars. Two things to raise on the call. That same Thumbtack distribution carries four percent one-star ratings — roughly three people — and none of them left any text, so nothing explains what went wrong; ask straight out whether a job has gone badly and how it was put right. And the company's own tenure claim will not hold still: ten years on Thumbtack, nine on Angi, eight on HomeAdvisor. Ask what year the business actually started. One practical note. Thumbtack currently shows the company as unavailable for epoxy floor coating while its Angi and HomeAdvisor pages still list it as taking work, including emergency service, so start with a direct call rather than a platform request. If what you have is a garage or basement slab you want coated, this is a specialist with a longer and more detailed customer history than most outfits its size. Get the system named in writing — epoxy, polyaspartic and Polycrete are not the same product and do not wear the same — along with the prep spec and whatever warranty comes with it.

We had Superior Epoxy Flooring install Polycrete on our garage, basement, and workshop floors. I ended up getting three quotes. When Billy showed me the Polycrete product I knew it was worth the extra cost. Our workshop floor was a challenge because some of the tools and tables were too heavy to move out because of stairs. They were able to complete the floor, splitting it over two sessions and moving the heavy items to one side and completing half the floor and then coming back a few days later to move everything to the other side to finish the job. Our basement floor was original to the house, built in 1930 and the other two were part of a renovation in 2005. Now they all look like new. Installation was flawless. All three floors look awesome and I couldn't be happier with the result. Billy and his team did an amazing job on our garage floor. We are very happy with the results! They showed up on time and were quick but thorough in their work. The pricing was also very reasonable and we left the initial meeting feeling confident in our decision to move forward with the project. Would definitely recommend this company and wouldn't hesitate to use them for future projects!
