One name turns up in more than a dozen reviews across four platforms: Billy. An October 2022 Google reviewer called it a family-run business and described Billy, Paco and Luis finishing a three-day job well before noon each day. The company's site puts the shop in Haverhill, says it has been at this for 10 years, and lists Boston, Framingham, Haverhill, Lowell and Salem as its service area. Garage and basement coatings are what the site leads with, and they are what customers describe. A September 2025 Thumbtack customer had a 251–500 sq ft garage coated and called the crew knowledgeable, responsive and punctual; a December 2024 Google reviewer chose a metallic finish because they were planning to finish the basement and did not want a garage feel to it. In April 2026, a homeowner brought them into a 70-year-old basement floor at their mother's place. Product choice comes up more than you'd expect for floor coating. A July 2025 customer who collected three quotes went with the company's Polycrete across garage, basement and workshop floors, deciding it was worth the extra cost after Billy walked them through it. In a July 2022 job billed at $1,920, a HomeAdvisor customer had a degrading concrete floor coated in polycrete with a large crack and edge cracks filled first, then laid tiles over it a week later. Two practical notes recur. Showing up when promised is the line reviewers repeat most — eight accounts between 2020 and 2025 mention crews arriving on the agreed day and on time, including a March 2023 HomeAdvisor customer who noted arrival on time both days and detailed work with no over-applying onto walls or trim. Price is the other: HomeAdvisor reviewers who posted figures between 2020 and 2023 paid from $1,100 to $7,000 depending on the floor, and a November 2020 Thumbtack customer said a $1,000 quote for a sunroom came in against a $2,600 estimate from another company. One experience runs the other way. In an October 2023 Google review, a homeowner who paid over $7,000 to have a garage and basement floor done said the epoxy started peeling off three to four months later, and that calls went unreturned once the company had been paid. That is the thing to pin down before signing: what the surface prep includes, what the coating's warranty covers and for how long, and how a callback gets handled. For a garage, basement or workshop floor you want coated rather than rebuilt, this is a straightforward call — a crew that does this one kind of work and little else. Before the deposit, get the product named in writing (standard epoxy or the Polycrete upgrade), the prep steps listed, and the warranty terms agreed.

We had Superior Epoxy Flooring install Polycrete on our garage, basement, and workshop floors. I ended up getting three quotes. When Billy showed me the Polycrete product I knew it was worth the extra cost. Our workshop floor was a challenge because some of the tools and tables were too heavy to move out because of stairs. They were able to complete the floor, splitting it over two sessions and moving the heavy items to one side and completing half the floor and then coming back a few days later to move everything to the other side to finish the job. Our basement floor was original to the house, built in 1930 and the other two were part of a renovation in 2005. Now they all look like new. Installation was flawless. All three floors look awesome and I couldn't be happier with the result. Billy and his team did an amazing job on our garage floor. We are very happy with the results! They showed up on time and were quick but thorough in their work.
