Tamburrini Painting Inc. is a Waltham-based residential and commercial painter that Jamie Tamburrini built up after learning the trade from his father, Antonio "Tony" Tamburrini, an immigrant from Atina, Italy — the company says it has served the Greater Boston area for more than 25 years, with Aylin Tamburrini running operations. Homeowners hire the crew for interior and exterior painting, kitchen cabinet refinishing, and deck and trim staining, along with the wallpaper removal and wall patching that come before a repaint. Kitchen cabinets come up again and again across its 28 Google reviews (4.9 stars overall): homeowners describe meticulous prep and cabinets that come out looking new, with one reviewer noting a follow-up call just to check on touch-ups. Older and historic homes are another recurring thread — a 2025 review from Saint Matthew the Evangelist Parish thanks the crew for scraping and sanding an early-19th-century building through 90-degree days, and a 2023 review describes a staining job spanning a large house and detached garage where the landscaping came through undamaged. Across four years of reviews, the same details repeat: crews that show up on time, clean up at the end of each day, and hold to the price they quoted — a 2025 reviewer specifically noted the final charge matched the estimate. The one blemish is mild: a 2026 review, still largely positive, mentioned that new trim didn't take the stain as evenly as older trim in the same room, though the homeowner said they'd hire the crew again. Its BBB file carries an A+ grade but shows the business isn't a BBB member, so that grade isn't backed by the vetting that comes with accreditation. Worth noting too: BBB's file lists 8 years in business, while the company's own site describes more than 25 years serving Greater Boston — a gap that likely reflects the trade Jamie learned from his father versus when the current Inc. was formally registered. For an interior repaint, cabinet refinishing, or a stubborn older-home exterior, Tamburrini has a deep and consistent run of reviews to point to. Confirm current pricing directly, since the reviews describe estimates as reasonable but don't give specific rates.
Rodin did a great job with the ceiling and walls. Unfortunately the new trim didn’t take the stain like the older trim. Overall we are very happy with the results and would hire Jamie and his crew again.
Highly recommend the Tamburrini team. I've been in the industry for 20+ years and I was extremely impressed with their whole process. Jamie and team kept the communication extremely high, and delivered at a high level from start to finish. Super grateful we found them and I'm looking forward to our next project with the Tamburrini team.
The best experience with a contractor I've ever had. Jamie Tamburrini and his crew did absolutely superb work, and they did it quickly and carefully. The job was completed a day earlier than promised. I recommend Tamburrini Painting as strongly as possible.
Fantastic job!
I hired Tamburrini to paint the exterior of my house in Waban, and they did a wonderful job. They were on schedule, completed the work quickly, communicated throughout very well, and it came out beautifully. They were also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them!
