BuildZoom names Christian Valle as president and owner, and the Better Business Bureau lists the business as starting in 2005 with three employees. The written accounts are few and consistently positive, and several come from people who worked alongside the crew rather than from homeowners. In a May 2023 Google review, a design professional called the team organized, efficient and responsive, and said it made the handoff from design to construction easy for the designers and their shared clients. An interior designer writing in 2017 had the company renovate an 1893 Cape Cod farmhouse and a two-storey barn, and described the job as clean, professional and on schedule. A 2016 account came from a collaborator on a custom home built to the passive-house standard, who singled out Christian's attention to detail. In 2020, a reviewer from a small physicians' office named Mike, Peggy and Rick as the people on their project. A commenter on r/CapeCod recommended the company in May 2025 alongside another local builder. That history is thin and much of it is old: the newest written account dates from May 2023 and four of the seven predate 2021. The same 2017 reviewer who praised an office build also said one area of the work came in over budget, so it is worth settling in writing which allowances are fixed before the job starts. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor licence, #162440, is verified active in the state registry under the company's own name, and BuildZoom shows 326 permitted projects behind it. The awards and certifications, including LEED Platinum and the Passive House certifications, are listed on the Houzz profile rather than confirmed independently here, and the BBB files the company under a Land for Sale category that fits none of the construction work everything else describes. This is a strong call for a custom build, an addition or a deep energy retrofit on the upper Cape, particularly if you want a builder who has taken a house to the passive-house standard before. Ask for references from the last year or two, since most of the written praise is several years old, and agree the allowance list before signing.
