Unique Remodel & Design is a remodeling company; the company says Tyler Desprez started it in 2016 and owns and operates it. In a 2021 Google review, a customer wrote that Tyler and his crew did an amazing job finishing their basement and that his work on the design was extremely helpful. A 2019 review described a basement renovation that included repairs, sheetrock, painting and a new floor, and said the work was flawless. In a 2018 review, a customer whose basement flooded wrote that Tyler and his crew did the complete rebuild, including flooring, plywood, paint, installation and trim, and that Tyler was fair in his pricing and willing to make adjustments for last minute changes. A separate 2018 review, written after a refrigerator malfunction ruined hardwood floors and a large portion of a finished basement, said Tyler came out immediately to assess the damage, worked with the customer's insurance adjuster and came by daily to check on things. That 2018 customer wrote that the hardwood flooring, ceiling repair, patching and painting and carpet installation were done meticulously, and that Tyler noticed sub-par work by the demolition company and brought it to the adjuster's attention. A 2020 review said Tyler put back a basement wall, baseboard, floor and bathroom ceiling that had been opened up to take care of a leak. In an August 2018 review, a customer wrote that Tyler came out for a free quote, took extensive measurements and followed up with a thorough quote and renderings for their bathroom renovation, and that the team showed up early and stayed late. The same 2018 customer wrote that they later used the company for a bedroom reno and window replacement. The Better Business Bureau gives the company a C+ grade and lists one complaint.
