Vath Custom Renovations

Vath Custom Renovations is a small, one-owner remodeling company in South Chatham run by Robert Vath, who's been doing kitchen and bathroom remodels, additions and custom cabinetry on the Cape since 2000. BuildZoom's permit history shows 14 projects between 2014 and 2024, mostly around Chatham, Harwich, Orleans and Dennis Port — steady work even though there's only one written review on file. In a 2026 review, a homeowner described a custom master bathroom renovation that turned unused space in a small Cape house into a second full bathroom without adding any square footage, and said the results exceeded expectations. Both his Massachusetts home improvement contractor license and his construction supervisor license are active and verified. There's only one written review to go on, so ask for references from a recent job before committing — but between a two-decade permit history on the Cape and a strongly positive account of a recent bathroom conversion, this is a small, experienced outfit worth a call for a kitchen, bath, or addition project.
