The BBB has accredited it since 2013 and grades it A+ — a measure of complaint handling and time on file, not of craftsmanship. What's thin is the part homeowners usually lean on hardest. The BBB profile carries no star rating and no reviews, so there is nothing from the people who actually hired them to weigh — which is why no rating is given here rather than a flattering guess. Two things are worth raising on a first call. One is crew size: the BBB records two employees against a service list that spans custom home building through full kitchen and bath renovations, so ask how a project is actually staffed and who runs the site day to day. The other is tenure — the company's own site says over 15 years while its BBB file shows a 2002 start — a small thing, but the kind of detail worth pinning down alongside recent Cape Cod references. This is remodeling and general contracting rather than one of the specialty trades Massachusetts exempts, so ask for the home improvement contractor registration number and check it against the state register yourself. For a window-and-door replacement on the Cape, the manufacturer authorizations are a real, checkable starting point. For a larger renovation, treat this as a company you'll need to reference-check directly.
