One of Meraki Millwork's three reviews comes from another contractor: Tony Abu of Abu Construction hired the South Chatham shop's Phil to do the finish carpentry on a 1730-era home's redo and a new 1,500-square-foot addition in 2018, and said nothing about either job challenged him. A builder judging another tradesman's trim work is a different kind of endorsement than a typical customer review. A military family who'd just moved to the Cape found the same in the same year: recommended to Meraki Millwork, their project grew from a kitchen remodel and a master bathroom remodel into a string of other repairs, with Phil's team picking up pieces that weren't part of the original plan. A year earlier, a Houzz customer praised a custom kitchen cabinet installation for its attention to detail, a clean worksite, and finishing on the timeline that was quoted. The written record stops there — three reviews across two platforms, both dated 2017 and 2018 — and nothing on file is negative. What's missing is anything current: no review from the last several years speaks to today's pricing, scheduling, or availability, so that's worth asking about directly. For custom cabinets, built-ins, closets, and finish carpentry — including on older homes and additions where the trim work gets tricky — Meraki Millwork's small record points the same direction three times over. As a military family who recently transferred to Cape Cod, finding a local contractor to assist with remodeling our home was a huge priority. Meraki Millwork was recommended to us and that turned out to be a GREAT call. Our remodel projects grew to include a complete kitchen remodel and master bathroom remodel as well as a myriad of other improvement and repairs! Phil and his team had the technical skills to complete all aspects of all projects (even the unexpected one). Feels like we now have a new home and love it! VERY pleased the results - thanks Phil!
I had Phil do the finish work in a 1730 redo as well as the work in the new 1500 sq. ft. addition. He was not at all challenged with anything we threw at him, actually I believe he enjoyed every bit of it. Thank you again Phil , you did a great job. Tony Abu, Abu Construction Inc.
Meraki Millwork installed custom kitchen cabinets in my home and I couldn't be more impressed. I was beyond satisfied with not only their exceptional attention to every last detail but the professionalism displayed by all their employees. They kept the worksite clean and they completed the job well within the time frame I was quoted. I highly recommend this company for all your carpentry needs, you definitely will not be disappointed!
