Walker Construction is an excavation, sitework and concrete contractor; the company says it was founded in 1972 and brings more than 50 years of that experience to Vermont work. A recent Google customer says the install team that poured their slab was polite and professional, and that the work turned out beautiful. A 2025 customer said Walker Construction redid their gravel driveway, regrading it to keep water from going into the garage. That 2025 customer said project manager Craig Fisher made sure enough material was used and that water drained away from the house and garage. When rain during the job left unexpected puddling in a couple of areas, the 2025 reviewer said Craig returned a few days later with more crushed gravel to correct it.
I would hire this company again in a heartbeat. Communication was great and the install team for pouring my slab were polite, professional, and the work turned out beautiful.
We recently had our gravel driveway redone by Walker Construction and they did an excellent job. This involved regrading to prevent water from going into the garage. Craig Fisher was the project manager and he was very conscientious about making certain that an adequate amount of material was used and that drainage away from the house & garage. It rained while the job was being completed and Craig noted that there was some unexpected puddling in a couple areas. He returned a few days later with additional crushed gravel to correct the problem. I highly recommend this company.
