Verified record
Wheeler & Son Electric has operated in Melrose since 1996, per its Better Business Bureau file, with about four employees. The BBB profile, opened in 2018, isn't accredited and carries no rating — BBB says it lacks enough information to grade the company, and no complaints or customer reviews are on file there. There isn't much public record of the actual electrical work. Google shows a 5-star average across its two ratings, but only one comes with any written text, and that review isn't about a job at all — it's a passerby thanking a family member for stopping to help fix a flat tire on the highway. With so little to go on about the work itself, it's worth asking directly for references or recent job examples before hiring.
I would like to thank Scott Wheeler who went out of his way to stop and help me out a few nights ago when my boat trailer was disabled on the highway. I was able to pull off the highway and into an industrial park where Scott came by and helped out shining his headlights on my broken tire, even getting his hands dirty helping me remove the tire and helping me back up in the dark. He was a complete stranger to me and did not have to stop. I feel that his actions speak volumes about his character and that of his father who raised such a wonderful young man.
