White Walnut Woodmaster is a Hyannis, Massachusetts kitchen remodeling and custom cabinetry company that says it serves Cape Cod towns from Sandwich to Provincetown. It holds an active Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license (#213095), verified against the state registry under the business's own name, and carries an A grade with the Better Business Bureau, though it is not BBB-accredited. The company describes itself on its own website as bringing over 19 years of expertise to kitchen and cabinetry work, while BBB's registration record lists the LLC itself as incorporated on June 25, 2024. Reviewers across Google, Angi, HomeAdvisor and Thumbtack consistently credit one named craftsman, Leo, with cabinet installation, kitchen remodeling and related flooring work. The praise is specific rather than generic: homeowners describe him adding extra screws to quiet a squeaky subfloor, working around an old drain pipe discovered mid-project, matching handle colors and countertop stone, and coordinating lighting, backsplash and paint to finish a kitchen. That track record spans at least seven distinct reviewers from late 2024 through mid-2025, plus a separately verified base of 76 Thumbtack ratings averaging 4.9 stars, several of which describe cabinet installation work by the same craftsman. Worth asking about before booking: a Better Business Bureau reviewer wrote that a person from the business 'is not a professional' and urged against hiring, without describing what went wrong. Separately, one detailed 2025 review describes friction after the homeowner chose to work directly with the company's countertop subcontractor rather than through White Walnut Woodmaster, along with some leftover debris in the cabinets and an unfinished caulk line where the countertop meets the wall. For a Cape Cod kitchen remodel or custom cabinetry project, the reviewed work points to careful, detail-oriented craftsmanship under one recurring installer. Given the one unresolved complaint and BBB's much younger incorporation date than the company's own 19-year claim, it is worth confirming the license is current and getting a clear written scope, including who handles the countertop and cleanup, before signing.
He was amazing build our kids player in no time. Great communication
Amazing work! Finished job while I was away. Went the extra yard to ensure all anchors for swing set properly installed. Very professional. Neat and clean work area when completed. He is my first call on my next project!! Can't say enough
Swing set came out amazing and we are so happy with the work provided to us. Leo did an amazing job and is so good at what he does. Thank you!
Leo was extremely meticulous and knowledgeable. Did a fantastic job with my cabinet installation. Would not hesitate to hire him again.
I am very happy with the cabinet quality and installation. I produced a design myself to order cabinets online and shared with Leo, he proposed supplying the cabinets himself. I am very happy with the quality and cost of cabinets (shown in picture). He helped with a variety of items - moved outlet, routed vent, helped source knobs/pulls. He even found an exact matching counter - which was challenging and took some days. Very responsive in texting on project, and in addressing issues I raised. Clear and transparent pricing. Would recommend Leo and hire again.
