Winkler Construction & Crane

Winkler Construction & Crane is a North Truro outfit that started with a single rough-terrain crane, according to a November 2025 industry write-up, which says it has grown into a full-service lifting company serving Cape Cod and the greater Northeast. On its BBB page the company describes itself as doing new construction, complete remodeling and renovations as well as crane service, for commercial and residential customers, with six employees and Michael F. Winkler as president. Most of what is written about it concerns the crane. In a May 2022 Provincetown Independent article, a fishing-vessel operator contracted the company the day after an incident to lift a green tangle from the docks into a truck bed. An April 2022 article from the same paper reported that a customer chose the Truro company for a job estimated at $10,000. The one Google review, from December 2024, gives five stars and says Mike did a great job, calling his son and workers professional and very safe. A February 2021 Provincetown Independent article recalled that in 2014, company president Mike Winkler and two others clear-cut Winkler's four-acre parcel off Route 6 in Truro without permits. Its BBB grade is A+.
