Yarmouth Appliance Clinic

Yarmouth Appliance Clinic is a South Yarmouth repair shop that's been around for years — a 2007 newspaper mention placed the business at the same Whites Path address, with a contact named Deacon David Akin. The reviews on file describe a shop willing to take on unusual, older equipment: a 2023 review described a vintage restaurant frappe machine that was rewired and brought back to working order, restoring what the customer called years of family memories, and a 2022 review praised the shop for repairing inexpensive small appliances like lamps and fans. More recently, a November 2025 review said the shop has come through for the customer many times. But a 2024 review described a frustrating interaction: the customer said the shop's website advertises KitchenAid mixer repair, but the owner told them in person that he doesn't do that work, and laughed when the customer pushed back. With only four written reviews on file, it's a thin picture, but it points to a shop better suited to small or specialty repairs than to every appliance its own website lists — worth confirming by phone that a specific repair is one they actually take on.
