Two vinyl sheds, seven feet by seven, taken apart for $250 — pieces marked, hardware bagged in a ziplock. That July 2025 Google review captures how AKF Maintenance Services operates around Randolph, and another customer put it plainly in April 2024: "No project or job is too small." The job list runs wide. A July 2025 customer had a basement flooding problem traced, the sump pump replaced and the tubing reworked so the water drained outside. In August 2025 it was a water-damaged ceiling. A July 2024 reviewer tallied light fixtures changed, a screen door removed, dryer problems diagnosed, dryer vents cleaned and heavy things moved. A January 2026 reviewer credited the crew with cleaning their pool the previous summer. Several reviewers hire Andrew Francis again and again. One wrote in April 2024 about numerous jobs over a few years at a townhouse condominium in Easton; another, the same month, about a fence repair and a shed assembly; a third said that when something isn't right he comes back and remedies it. Two 2025 reviewers who handle rental property lean on him the same way — a first-time buyer with a multi-family called him responsive and reasonably priced, and another calls him whenever a tenant flags something, from the shed to electrical and plumbing. Price turns up in several reviews and in the same shape each time: the $250 shed teardown, an April 2024 dryer vent serviced on time and charged at the quote, and an April 2024 drainage-and-gutter job where the options and costs were laid out first. A March 2026 Thumbtack customer described Andrew showing up punctual and knowing what material the project needed. Thumbtack lists the business in Randolph with 11 hires and 57 projects shown, gives handyman, plumbing pipe repair and dishwasher installation as its services, and carries a background check; it shows 4.8 stars from 13 reviews, and Google 4.9 from 19 ratings. For the running list a house generates — a vent, a pull-down ladder, a shed, a basement taking on water — this is the kind of number people keep. If your project runs past repairs into licensed electrical or plumbing work, settle up front who holds that licence, and get the quote in writing on anything large.
Andrew came to look at the project we needed done, and was very punctual, and knowledgeable about what material was needed. He completed the job in a timely manner for what the job required. The work came out great.
These guys are really good in what they do. I was supposed to write this review a long time ago. They cleaned my pool for me last summer, they were prompt, did a great job and I will hire them again and again.
Andrew is very good at what he is doing. He makes sure the job is done properly and professionally. No shortcuts to get the job done and problem for the client later. He gives you a good quality job that makes you satisfied that the job is done right.
Andrew did wonderful repairs and improvements throughout our house. He is very knowledgeable and dedicated to his profession. He also has a keen eye for detail which was very much appreciated. My husband and I highly recommend Andrew and his staff for your home improvement needs.
