Al's Oil Service is a Shrewsbury heating-oil and heating-service company. A 2026 Google customer who called for an emergency oil delivery said it was done in one hour, with a fee they called acceptable on a cold night with a three-week-old baby. The company says on its website that it is family-owned and has kept Shrewsbury homes warm for over six decades. A 2026 Google reviewer who had a new furnace installed said the pipe layout was clean and that they took the time to walk through all the new equipment. A 2026 customer who had a new boiler installed said they were patient and kind with their dogs and that the crew left everything clean and tidy. When a 2026 customer's furnace stopped working one night, Matt was at the house by 10 o'clock the next morning; that customer said he checked the whole system and changed the filter, and the heat seemed to be working afterwards. A 2026 customer said Ryan came out and got their heat working again. A 2025 first-time oil customer who had called Tia to compare prices said the first delivery came less than 24 hours later. A 2023 customer living down the street wrote that the company had been there for them from a new boiler to an HVAC system to automatic oil deliveries. Al's Oil Service is BBB-accredited with an A+ grade, and a 2026 linkedin.com post from WCAC announced that it had been selected as a 2026 Energy Equity Champion Award recipient. A 2025 r/WorcesterMA commenter called Al's in Shrewsbury their preferred supplier. A 2020 r/WorcesterMA commenter said its deluxe service plan cost $300 a year and saved them when they needed emergency service. In a 2009 telegram.com article, service manager David R. Lambert said an oil line running under concrete or cement can leak where you don't see it, and that can be costly. A 2026 Google reviewer says mini splits that were installed have had nothing but issues since, and that the last invoice, from 2023, still hasn't been resolved. A 2026 customer wrote that techs told them one thing in person and wrote something different on paper, that six guys had come out all saying something different, and that when they spoke to Tammy, she was rude and said the company no longer wanted to work with them. A 2025 customer said an oil delivery ordered a few days before Christmas Eve never arrived; they claimed they couldn't deliver because of ice on the driveway and too many vehicles, and the customer had no oil and no heat on Christmas Day. A 2025 customer said Brad, from the service department, came for the yearly furnace service, pushed their kid's play set in the basement very hard, took photos of the basement without asking, and asked them to leave when they wanted to watch. A 2025 customer booked a first annual furnace maintenance with a four-hour window and said the tech showed up in hour three, never introduced himself and walked away without a word; that customer was also not told the visit does not include changing the air handler filter. A 2025 customer called the service department very rude and said it took four visits to fix their problem. A 2023 customer added in an update that they had needed to call repeatedly to get issues taken care of. A 2021 r/WorcesterMA commenter called the company good but expensive.

Perfect quiet spot
Your records are not accurate. Mini splits were installed and have had nothing but issues since they were installed. Last invoice was in April of 2023 and still hasn’t been resolved. We have also have emails this week.
First time customer. Wonderful experience. Thank you for my first delivery today!
I had to come on today for many reasons. First and foremost, I wanna thank Al’s Oil for all the assistance that they have given me over these past few months. My Oil tank Needed to be replaced and Al’s oil was on top that immediately. They came gave me a quote and it was taken care of. Last night, my furnace stopped working. I contacted Al’s Oil this morning spoke to an amazing woman and by 10 o’clock I had Matt here helping me with my furnace. Matt was amazing. Truthfully he came in went downstairs. Checked my furnace. My thermostat everything. He showed me some pictures Of what my filters and things looked like And it wasn’t good. My oil was not red. It was black and Let’s just say that Oil was not from Al’s Oil it was delivered from a parent company. Matt checked out the whole system Changed the filter And a few other things And now it seems to be working wonderfully. Matt, I can’t thank you enough for all you did to help me with my heat. Als Oil thank you so much for being Someone who cares about your customers. If you’re looking for an oil company, I highly suggest Al’s Oil. Have a great day, everyone. 🫶
check my update to there response! DONT USE THIS COMPANY HONESTLY FIND ONE THATS HONEST AN RESPECTFUL! AN HAVE TECHS WHO TAKE ACCURATE NOTES AN DONT LIE! I would never choose this company for oil if I were you. They tell you one thing in person that needs to be done, but then lie on paper and say something different. We have had six guys here, all saying something different, causing a hassle of a mess. Then today, I spoke to Tammy; she was so rude! She didn't care that I had the tech conversation with me on our Ring cam that proves what I'm saying: "I get what you're saying, but it's not what he put on the paper!" I said, "So how come every time a tech comes out here, they lie about what they told me, seeing as it's happened each time?" Her reply was, "I don't know! I'll have to have a talk with them when they come in." I said, "Well, it's getting cold; we have barely any oil and don't want to put oil into the tank, seeing as he told me it would Contaminate it an not work properly! She didn't care, so I went, "Maybe I should have another company come out and look at the tank." She went, "You should, because we no longer want to work with you, and I'll let community action know. I'll email them." I said, "Okay, that's fine," then hung up! They are nothing but rude and never write down what they do on these service calls! I'd stay away! you guys are the worst oil company an so rude tammy is beyond rude an makes no sense seeing tammy said it goes by what they wrote not what they say in person even tho its on my ring camera. but we already found a new amazing oil company that doesnt play games an is honest an respectful unlike your company tammy need a new job not to tell me she cant go off what i said even tho it happened in front of my ring camera tho none of your techs write accurate notes. so i will let everyone i know to never use your company unless they enjoy rude customer service where you get yelled at! so no need to reply to my updated review seeing you wasted my families time with all the lies an no respect!
