Alex Heating Services, a heating company on Harbor Street in Salem, carries 3 stars from 2 Google ratings. The written review behind that number, posted in May 2024, is a one-star warning: the customer described sub-par work and an unprofessional, demeaning manner, and told other homeowners to find someone else. Anyone weighing them for a heating job should get the scope and the price in writing, ask to see the Massachusetts licence and a current insurance certificate, and line up a couple of recent local references to call first.
Hard pass, sub-par work performed, unprofessional, demeaning, would not recommend, steer clear and find someone else.
