Nearly every one of Alliance Heating & Cooling's reviews mentions the same person by name: Jimmy. The Woburn, Massachusetts company works on residential and commercial heating and cooling systems across Boston and the surrounding area, offering repairs, installations and preventive maintenance, and its site advertises 24/7 emergency service. The company says it has been in business 15 years. All 17 of its Google reviews come back five stars, and the pattern in them is specific rather than generic — an AC that quit on one of the hottest days of summer was running again the same visit, and an auxiliary heater with a bad thermostat wire was diagnosed and fixed the same day it was called in, after two other HVAC companies had already looked at it and missed the problem. A faulty-thermostat furnace fix, a condenser swap, a gas furnace repair — the reviews describe straightforward diagnosis-and-fix jobs, several of them same-day. Recent activity is light but consistent: three reviews in the last six months, all five stars, the most recent on September 5, 2026. One thing worth asking about before booking: almost every review names Jimmy specifically as the technician who showed up, which is a good sign about the work but worth confirming he's still the one you'll get on a same-day call. For a stuck AC on a hot day or a furnace that won't start, Alliance looks like a reliable call — just confirm scheduling and who's available before you're actually in a bind.

My AC cut out on one of the hottest days this summer. Jimmy came out, took a peek and had it running like new in no time. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable he was. He was also punctual, polite and fairly priced. I recommend Alliance HVAC to everyone.
On time, polite, and thorough service and recommendations for the system to prevent major damages.
Excellent service. Jimmy came out and troubleshoot the heating and knew the issue was a faulty thermostat. Yes we have heat!! Thank you!
Alliance able to troubleshoot malfunctioning auxiliary heater due to bad thermostat wire and fixed problem of insufficient heat (on same day of call). Two other HVAC people did not evaluate properly
