I learned about Basile Oil from an internet search for oil delivery companies in the area. They advertised online the most competitive rate for oil at a fixed price for the entire month which was intriguing, particularly given recent events in the Middle East that has caused a lot of volatility. Following an initial phone call at the beginning of the month, a couple of weeks later I placed the order via text message when I needed the oil (150+ gallon fill) & scheduled delivery for 3 days later. The delivery ended up being postponed to a couple of days after that but there was communication (following my inquires for updates). In the end I saved a good deal of money vs. the competitors and I had my concerns given the other reviewers. In the end, while there was a delay, the persistence with communication/texting made it worth it.
Extremely disappointed with Basile Oil Co. They said our oil delivery would arrive by Thursday or Friday, but it never showed up. No update, no call — just silence. We were left with very little oil and ended up in an emergency situation trying to keep the house warm. It’s really upsetting when a company gives a delivery window and doesn’t follow through, especially when people depend on heating oil for their families. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company because their communication and reliability is very poor and unacceptable. They should not be allowed to do business in such unprofessional manner.
Incredibly unreliable and incompetent. I’ve been trying to set up a delivery for two weeks and they keep pushing it off saying today or tomorrow and it never happens. Had I gone with somebody else two weeks ago I would’ve had it by now and at a much cheaper price.
No call, no show. Don't waste your time even if you think your saving money.
They did not deliver on the day promised, delivered more than I had asked for and didn't leave me a receipt. I have been calling and sending messages for the last week, almost daily and no response from them. Horrible costumer service. I will not be ordering from them anymore.
