Veterans pledge — two cents per gallon from its Veterans, Inc. logo truck
Reddit recommendation — named a good replacement for Amanda's in 2024
BBB grade — A+

Patriot Liquid Energy delivers home heating oil out of Newton, and the thing it puts front and centre is a veterans pledge: the company says it gives two cents to Veterans, Inc. for every gallon of heating oil delivered by the truck that displays the Veterans, Inc. logo, and puts the running total at more than $60,000. It also advertises 24/7 emergency service. One recommendation has turned up on Reddit so far. In a December 2024 r/medfordma thread, a commenter suggested Patriot Liquid Energy as a good replacement for Amanda's. In a December 2023 r/massachusetts thread, another commenter wrote that a site their wife found had led them to the cheaper company, and that their last fill came from Patriot Liquid Energy. Its Better Business Bureau page carries an A+ grade.
