Repairing cat-damaged flooring and refinishing 2,000 square feet of Brazilian cherry were part of one Bella Floors customer's job, described in a January 2019 HomeAdvisor review. The customer praised both the result and the cleanup. Bella Floors says founder Alex (Aliaksandr) Mysko runs the Hyannis business and has provided hardwood and laminate flooring installation, refinishing and repair for the Cape and Islands since 2005. Google lists 4.4 stars from seven ratings; HomeAdvisor lists 4.9 from 62, and Angi lists 5.0 from 34. In April 2026, a Google reviewer said Alex was easy to work with and praised the finished work. An Angi customer writing that month praised timely completion and competitive pricing. Customers' older accounts describe the decisions and repairs involved in flooring projects. In a January 2017 review, a customer said Alex gave a demonstration on small wood planks to help them decide what kind of floor they wanted. They chose unfinished white oak and praised the crew's attention to detail during installation and finishing. A March 2017 customer in Orleans described replacing linoleum and carpet with hardwood, including removal of a particle-board subfloor. They said Alex helped locate their chosen hardwood, arranged delivery and worked with their schedule so installation could take place while they were away. They also praised the fitting around existing baseboard heat. Antique floors feature in other dated accounts. A December 2017 customer described sanding and finishing 160-year-old pine floors, with furniture moved and replaced by the team. In June 2019, another reviewer said Alex applied a light stain to help different pine species and eras blend, followed by three coats of polyurethane. A July 2015 customer described a repair to separating boards: matching wood and stain, cutting and refitting boards, and installing special molding. In April 2016, a customer said Alex sanded, stained and finished two laundry or utility-room stairs in two visits. Dust was a concern for an August 2015 customer. Although they praised the refinished floors and the team's cleanup, they said dust had spread onto the walls and they had to mop them afterward. A separate September 2018 customer described virtually no dust during their job. These are different customers' accounts of their own projects.
