Best Oil

Best Oil and Propane says it is a family-run company, in business since 1936, that delivers oil, diesel and propane to commercial and residential customers in the Waterbury area. A 2024 customer said that after checking the tank on a Sunday at 10 degrees, oil was delivered within the hour of their call, with no extra fee for Sunday delivery. A 2024 customer, new to the company, said they called at the last minute and the company was there first thing the next morning. A 2024 customer said the company had delivered the same day on occasions when they needed it, and that the delivery personnel dealt with a steep driveway and hills at their home. A 2025 customer said they had an emergency situation and the company came through. A 2024 customer said they told the company not to deliver, oil was delivered anyway, and they had to pay for it. A 2024 customer said they called on a Wednesday, were told delivery would come the next Tuesday, and that the delivery still had not come after a second scheduled Tuesday. A 2023 customer said a scheduled delivery never came, an emergency call got no response, and they waited 72 hours with no oil and no heat.
