Omni Energy delivers heating oil, and a recent customer described ordering 100 gallons on a Monday evening, getting a text Wednesday afternoon that it was on the way, and watching on a doorbell camera as the driver ran to fill the tank and left a copy in the door. A 2016 local news article described Omni as serving residential and commercial customers throughout western Connecticut, and the company's site lists a service area that includes Avon, Bristol, Cheshire, Danbury, Litchfield and Middlebury. A 2024 customer wrote that you can track the drivers on the way, so there is no waiting all day. A 2023 customer said they called and the next day the company was filling the tank. A 2023 customer credited Daniel with saving their newer furnace after it ran dry. A 2025 customer said the owner, Steve, and his drivers were professional. A 2025 customer said they ordered oil on 1/6, were told it would arrive by 1/9, and did not receive it until 1/14, coming close to running out. A 2025 customer wrote that after an order on 1/2, a promised call from the emergency line never came, and by the 1/7 delivery date their oil supply sat on the empty line. A 2025 customer said money had been withdrawn from their account and a delivery scheduled four days earlier still had not come, with only an answering service picking up. A 2026 customer who said Omni was great for years wrote that calls, texts and messages went unanswered.
