Cape Cod Doors - Door Installation, Supplier, Contractor

We’ve had 2 storm doors in our rental property replaced by Cape Cod Door with great satisfaction. Within the past few days one of our renters told us that the lower bracket had become dislodged, likely due to it suddenly opening. We called Doug and within 24 hours he visited and had it fixed and provided this at no charge. This level of contractor service generally does not exist on Cape Cod. Owner Doug Hauser was responsive and incredibly patient with me while I researched replacing windows and doors for my 1900-built Cape house. The best advice I read while doing my research was: Replace your old doors before your windows because you use them all the time. So let me save you some time...replace your old doors and hire Cape Cod Doors to do it! Doug has been installing doors for over 30 years and his experience and skill clearly came through during this challenging installation. Doug and his crew, Mark and Chris, encountered several old house and "wonky" issues including unlevel floors, wildlife nests above the front door, and previous shoddy workmanship and they found/designed work-arounds and solved every issue they encountered...and Doug did not charge me a penny more than the original contract. I replaced 4 doors, including an original 1900 front door with side lights--3 of the new doors are Therma-Tru Smooth Star fiberglass doors and the 4th is an Andersen A-series sliding door. I am thrilled with the results and my family has said "it feels like a new house!" Further, Doug's pricing was very reasonable, especially considering his expertise and experience. I wish I could give Cape Cod Doors 100 stars--thank you Doug, Mark and Chris!
